And the xbox app showed the "Teredo address not obtained" again. If you have this kind of issue you might want to check your router settings. Mine actually blocked Teredo tunneling devices because it could already resolve Ipv6 addresses by itself. So go to the webpage of your router with all the settings and check for filters of any kind. My Surface Pro 3 and my 7 year old Laptop can join and create Xbox Live lobbies without issues, and they are running on the same network within my home. All 3 devices, surface, laptop, and desktop are running the same version of the xbox app. 9.9.28033.000 or something close to that number, regardless, they are all the same.
